As always, it's been ages since I updated my journal. like, ten months! But not my account. Any of you who check on my stuff will notice that I've been updating my account a bit, and commenting on other ppls stuff. I dont like the journals on here, so I use livejournal. So... Ive begun to think lately that Im getting better at drawing. My anatomy still sucks, but at least I dont draw figures that look like aliens anymore! And my work in corel painter has gotten better as Ive had more practice with the tablet and the program, which is good becuase for a while there I wasnt sure I'd ever get better. yays!

Not really. I love Christmas. All the busy busy busy! Well, mostly it's fun.

Anyway its been a while since I've been here. Just uploaded a whole heap of stuff thats being mouldering in the pc for ages. hopefully I'll put up some more soon.

Ok. So I know, once again, it's been a while. In my defense, in no way have I stopped creating art. Drawing especially takes up a lot of my time. I've improved a lot since I started, especially when I look back at what I've done in previous years.

I look at some of my old stuff and wince. Seriously.

But I am in no way anywhere near the kind of artist I want to be so I'm going to keep trying.

I need a good scanner actually. Mine sucks.

On a side note, I'm starting to realise just how much b***** work goes into a completed manga-style piece of work. At heart I am a very lazy person. The amount of work that I'm doing in a single drawing is exhausting.

Ok, so I really need a program like photoshop, but I seriously can't afford the expense. Grr. Corel painter is great but Ive only got so much patience with the limited options it gives me with effects and layers. Not to mention that the colour palete is limiting as well.

OK, so enough with the grumbling. I graduated last year and am now looking for work. Yeah sure. We're in the middle of an econmic recession and Im loioking for work. Smart move, sista.

Deviant hasnt let me sign in for MONTHS! Id ont undersatand! I use the right name and pword, and then it dont work. grrr.
